Skate 3 in Browser — Does Radiant Optimizer’s Port Work?
A Skate 3 fan project has a browser launcher, but it is not a verified replacement for the full console game. It needs WebGPU and, according to the current host, your own converted game data. A separate Rust clean-room experiment discussed on Reddit must not be confused with this build.

Browser compatibility
| Browser | Status | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Chrome | ✅ Candidate | Use a current desktop build with WebGPU exposed; GPU and driver support still matter. |
| Edge | ✅ Candidate | Check WebGPU and hardware acceleration on your actual device. |
| Firefox | ⚠️ Unknown | API availability varies by platform and version; this game was not tested. |
| Safari | ❓ Unknown | Check the current platform and browser; this game was not tested. |
How to play
- Run the browser capability check and confirm that WebGPU is exposed.
- Read the current host’s instructions and prepare data from your own converted copy; no files are provided here.
- Open the fan-game launcher, follow its data-loading instructions and allow the first load to finish. A loading screen alone is not a successful play test.
Which version are you opening?
The current launcher explicitly describes streaming from your own copy. A Reddit author links a separate clean-room version; that report does not mean the current launcher ships regenerated assets or needs no game data. Check the version before following setup instructions.
