How to Fix BO1 Zombies Browser Loading Issues
If a Black Ops 1 Zombies browser port appears to stop at 86%, the percentage alone does not identify the cause. The game may still be downloading a large asset, the host may be responding slowly, or a required browser feature or script may have failed.
Give the first load time
Some browser ports fetch substantial game data the first time they run. Keep the tab open and check that your connection is stable before reloading. A busy or temporarily unavailable host can also interrupt the transfer. If the page remains unchanged for several minutes, reload once and check the project host for a status notice. Repeated refreshes can restart downloads and make a slow first load take longer.
Check WebGL 2 and browser support
Many 3D browser games use WebGL 2 for graphics and WebAssembly for game code. Use a current desktop version of Chrome or Microsoft Edge, then make sure hardware acceleration is enabled in the browser settings and restart the browser after changing it. You can run the browser feature check on our How to play guide to see whether WebGL 2 is available. If the check fails, update your browser and graphics driver, then try again.
Review script and privacy blockers
Content blockers, strict privacy settings, or network filters may prevent a game script or asset from loading. If you trust the project host, check the blocker’s log or allow-list that host for a single test, then reload the game. Avoid turning off browser security protections globally, installing unknown extensions, or downloading files from an unfamiliar mirror. If the game still fails, restore your usual settings and use the host’s own troubleshooting instructions.
Try a clean desktop session
Close other graphics-heavy tabs, open the project in a fresh Chrome or Edge window, and allow the page to finish loading. Mobile browsers may lack the memory, controls, or graphics support these ports expect. Availability can change because the game is hosted by a third party, so a persistent error may be on the host’s side rather than your device. Check our game index for the current entry status and setup notes before trying another project.
